WHAT TO SEE

BY CAR:

The quickest way to reach Lake Garda from the north (Austria) by car is the A22 (Modena Brennero) highway. The best exit is Rovereto sud / Lago di Garda Nord. The highway is about 20 Km. far away from the lake. Once leaving the highway, follow the indication Torbole / Riva del Garda along the Gardesana occidentale SS45 bis.

Alternatively you could continue on the highway A22 until you find the exit Affi / Lago di Garda Sud. Once leaving the highway, follow the indication for Torri del Benaco. Here you can reach Gardone Riviera by ferry.

If you come from west (Milan) the quickest way to reach Lake Garda is the A4 (Milano-Venezia) highway. The best exit is Brescia Est. The highway is about 35 Km. far away from the lake. Once leaving the highway follow the indication Lago di Garda occidentale / Salò. When you arrive in Salò drive along the Gardesana occidentale SS45 bis till Gardone Riviera.
Once in Gardone you will find the Hotel Bellevue on the left if you come from Salò (or on the right if you come from Riva) in front of the Casinò at the intersection for the Vittoriale degli Italiani.

The nearest airports are in Bergamo/Orio al Serio, Verona und Milano / Linate Malpensa.
